Tiger Woods Voice Mail

Golf pro Tiger Woods seems to be in some deep troubles based on recent events. Here is my opinion on the matter.  How do you feel about it?

When I heard the news story that he crashed his car in to a fire hydrant just outside his home at 2:30 in the morning, I had a feeling the story would go down a cheating road. My hunch was that his wife found out, grabbed a golf club went after him while he tried to drive off running from her. Ha! What do you think happened?

Personally, I don’t feel sorry for him. I don’t feel that he needs “privacy” right now. With the millions of dollars he makes in endorsements, he IS held to a higher standard and in my opinion, isn’t entitled to “privacy at this time”. Would be different if it was a personal tragedy in his life, like the loss of a loved one or an illness. Cheating though, doesn’t make me want to give him privacy. I will be watching this unfold and hoping that his wife will take the high road and throw his cheating ass to the curb. The small chance that she may have gone after him with a golf club gives me hope. I am sick of hearing about women who “stand by there man”. So Mrs. Woods, you are a SUPERMODEL! You can have ANY man! Set an example for all the women watching this story unfold.

This voice mail is worth a listen. It’s left to the woman he allegedly had an affair with, basically telling her to please change her voice mail, cuz his wife might be calling. You do have to sit through a 30 second ad, but it’s worth it.

Les Paul Dead at 94 RIP

Les Paul Dead at 94 RIP

One of the many joys I have had in my life was to watch Les Paul perform “twice” at the Iridium Club in New York.  Evey Monday night for years he stepped on to the stage and played (with arthritic hands) some of the best rock/jazz tunes I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing.  As you can see from the picture above, he knew how to work the room.  I will be back in New York this October and was planning on seeing him a third time, but am so sad to read the news this morning that he passed of complications from pneumonia.

Les Paul is an icon and the music industry will be forever in debt to him for all of his contributions.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Les Paul Foundation, 236 West 30th Street, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.

Billy Mays Dead

World famous Billy Mays – Mr. As Seen on TV – has DIED. The entertainment industry has suffered enough.  No more please.

According to the news, his wife found him unresponsive this morning.  He was 50 years old.

Apparently he had just been on a flight that had blown out a front tire and hit HARD during landing.  As a result he was hit in the head.  His quote to a local TV station was “All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”

Could his sudden death have been a result of a head injury?

OMG – so sad.  Enough already.

Prayers to his family.  He was a favorite of mine for sure. I always bought what he was selling.

Billy Mays was just on Conan the other night and clarified, the Shamwow is NOT Zorbeez.  For the record Billy Mays was not the spokesperson for Shamwow.  He was the Zorbeez man (the real towel absorbent cloth).

Billy was the infomercial king and the face of many products.  OxiClean is probably the most famous, then there are the Tool Band-It, Quick Chop, Simoniz Fix It, Mighty Putty and many more.

I will leave you with this:
