IDK. I never watched it again.

Now every time I turn around someone is talking about it. He cheated or was photographed with another woman? I don’t know all the details, but apparently they had the highest viewership in the show’s history as a result, so now I suppose they will have to decide if they want to continue to capitalize financially on this unfortunate situation. Will staying married get them more ratings or divorcing? Is there something in the contract that dictates what will happen if they divorce? Who gets the show? Will it be John Minus Kate Plus 8? If it were me and my husband cheated, I would gladly turn over custody of all 8 kids to him and his new thing. Let them do all the hard work and let me be the one to show up on weekends and take them to the movies and Disneyland. Why should he get to go off and start a new life and leave Kate with 8 kids alone. Seriously.

Just my opinion of course. Luckily I have never had to deal with that.

I have two dear friends that were fortunate enough to wed before November 4th and are luckily still married, as are about 18,000 other couples. I just feel that this is a new day a new time and while I may be very conservative on every other topic, this is one where my heart bleeds a little.

The end result will be the same. Why make people fight so hard and cry so many tears when we all know within a few years they will win. Very deservingly so.

It Works body wraps are detox wraps that can result in inch loss on a targeted area of your body. Call 1-866-52-ORDER for more information on how to order.

I have to admit I am always skeptical about things that sound too good to be true. In most cases they are, but when a dear friend asks me to try something that worked for her I am usually game to try it at least once. In this case it really DOES and DID work. What am I talking about? Losing inches in an hour that can be permanent if you can maintain it. This is not a “miracle” if you eat Big Macs and drink margaritas every day at happy hour you will gain it back, but if you can stay on a semi low cal/sodium diet and drink lots of water, you could maintain it. I have been able to for just a couple weeks now, but there is no way I am screwing this up.

So here is the deal. There is a body applicator that you apply to your body. You have to choose one section at a time and can only wrap once every 72 hours. I chose my stomach. I am wearing jeans that I have not been able to button in over a year. I have wrapped twice because I am waiting for more to arrive that I have already ordered, but plan on doing my stomach once more, then my thighs. I know this is crazy, but it really worked.

To use this you apply the applicator and then wrap the area in saran wrap for an hour (some people do it over night). Measure before and after and everyday after. You can see loss little by little each day. After 3 days I was able to fit into my old jeans. You have to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water the day you wrap and each day following which is good for you anyway, but I normally don’t ‘love’ water. Because of the quick results though I am extremely motivated to keep it off so am drinking 64 ounces a day. (If you weigh 200 pounds you would drink 100 ounces of water)

My friend that turned me on to this has been wrapping people like crazy for the past month and women and men both can’t get enough of it.

Last thing. If you are (pardon the words) obese, huge, very large, etc you may not see the same quick results. It will likely take longer.

Okay enough here it is. They are called It Works Body Applicators. You can order from that site. If you have any questions leave me a comment or message me on FB or Twitter. If you sign up please please please let me know what your results were. The company also sells a face and chin wrap and other products I have not tried yet, but will try over the next few months.

Edit – I went on a one week vacation. Came home gained an inch. Wrapped and lost 1 3/4 the next day.

Edit – Almost 3 months later, still have kept off the inches. Wrap once a week now to maintain. Still have not really dieted. I also joined as a distributor and get my wraps for a fraction of the cost.

Edit – Traveled a lot this summer. Didn’t do too good on wrapping, but still within an inch of my last wrap measurement. Getting back on wrapping every three days now that I will be home for a while.

Check out the It Works Compensation Plan and become an It Works Distributor

ORDER NOW

First off. Yes I watch the View. Sorry, but I love the sometimes senseless and sometimes valuable drivel that the ladies bring to the table each day. But today, low and behold, Barbara Walters explained Twitter to the ladies of the View and to millions of viewers in America. It’s no secret that Twitter is becoming more and more mainstream, but for Ms. Walters to mention it on her show, it’s likely to become a topic of conservation on many playgrounds and after school play dates with the moms across America.

The way Barbara Walters explained it was very simple. She said it was like sending an email to thousands of people with the push of a button. Yes that’s true, it is like that and so much more if you know how to use it. Funny coincidence that right after she mentioned it Twitter went down. Some people on the web are saying that all the ‘view’ers crashed the site, but according to Twitter it was due to a power failure in one of their data centers. The moms that got the infamous Twitter fail whale where probably like WTF Barbara?

Based on the reaction from the ladies, it looks like Sherri Sheppard tweets and Whoopi and Elisabeth don’t (yet). Hard to say if Joy does, but she knew some of the Twitter lingo, so maybe she does.

Learn from my mistake. Don’t take prescription drugs that aren’t prescribed to you.

I threw my back out last week and it has been hurting for about 6 days straight, getting a little worse it seems each day. At any rate, on Sunday I was in some serious pain and wanted to have some friends over to watch the Oscars, so I decided I would look in the medicine drawer and see what would help me relieve some of the pain I was experiencing quickly.

The first thing I saw was some codeine that was prescribed to my son last April whe he broke his leg. I figured it helped him with his pain, he’s a kid, so the dosage must not be too high. I really needed something stronge. It seemed like a win win. Well, as far as the pain went, it worked.

Fast forward two hours. I was a little itchy, then went to the bathroom and noticed my eyes looked swollen. Figured what had happened was an allergic reaction, so I took a Claritin, then went to bed. When I woke up on Monday my eyes were “really” swollen. If I wasn’t so vain I would post a picture. Ialso had a rash all over my upper body that itched a little, and was bumpy. I went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me a steroid shot and some antihistamines that have yet to do the job. I am a little less puffy today, still have the rash and feeling a little itchy.

I imagine that I will have to go back to the doctor by tomorrow if I’m not better, but I wanted to share this incase it might help someone avoid something similar or if you’ve experienced this in the past, you know you aren’t alone.

I just finished a two week trial with the Nokia E71 mobile phone. When I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised to see how stylish the phone is. It’s sleek and light weight and has a wrist strap that makes it easy to carry the phone or dig it out of your purse.

As far as the use of the phone…I really like the keyboard. It’s very easy to type on and I noticed less typos. The Nokia E71 has 3G wireless access and being a Blackberry user, that was the best part. Surfing the web on the Nokia was a much more enjoyable experience than on the Blackberry.

The Nokia E71 also has an option to record videos which can come in really handy, especially with the popularity of YouTube. You never know when you’ll be able to capture the next front page story. There is also a way to set up live streaming video in case that’s something that you need to do. I didn’t actually do that with this phone, but I know it was an option.

The phone was very easy to use and my whole family wanted to play with it and they are all iPod users. The ring was loud enough for me to hear and the battery lasted for what seemed to be the entire time I was using the phone (about 2 weeks). I think I only charged it once. Seriously.

I am on At & T and when I received the Nokia all I had to do was insert my SIM card and it worked perfectly. The phone also has a USB adapter and of course a spot for a memory card.

So if you aren’t a member of the Blackberry generation or hooked to a two year contract with Apple, then give this phone a try. I wish I could tell you where you could buy it, but I actually have no idea. I am assuming you’ll be able to Google it and shop away.

The one and only thing is that the phone seems somewhat delicate. it is very stylish to look at and feels great to hold, but seems like it would shatter if dropped. Now I was extremely careful with it because I knew I had to return it, but I was really worried about that. My Blackberry has survived a few crash landings over the years, but it seems a bit beefier than the Nokia E71.

I am a beauty product junkie. If it softens my hair or softens my skin I want to use it.

I recently came across a skin care product from Skin Care RX called Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica. I’ve had micro-dermabrasion done on my face before. It is expensive and slightly uncomfortable. You can feel the results right away because as soon as the treatment is over you can simply touch your face and see how soft it is. This is the same feeling I had after using the Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica.

This is a simple product to use and you could even take it into your shower and use it on your face daily after you wash your face. All you do is apply a small amount on wet hands and it turns into a soft sanding paste that easily works away dead skin cells with no pain and leaves your skin feeling baby soft.

Using this on a daily basis has helped my skin quite a bit already. I can also notice that my make up goes on more evenly and I have yet to break out (knock on wood) since I’ve started using it.

I think this would be a great product for anyone who enjoys the feeling of a clean face that is beyond soft on a daily basis.

This is a very gentle exfoliant that uses rice enzymes as its key ingredient.

If you want to rid yourself of dead skin cells and find out more about this daily exfoliant you can read about it on the Skin Care RX website. They are also offering a $20 coupon right now. All you have to do is follow this link and enter your email address.
