Last week on The View the ladies discussed the Louis Vuitton Tribute Handbag. This bag is a mish-mosh of older generation Louis Vuitton bags that is selling for $42,000. Mind you, there are only four available for sale in the US.

Now Rosie, being the crafty person she is said she’d go home over the weekend and make a knock off using supplies she found at Target or in her craft house. (Yes, she has a craft house). Now on any given day you wouldn’t hear me touting anything Rosie, but I have to admit, she did a pretty good job.

Rosie said today that she’d be selling her bag for charity at charitybuzz.com. By the way, Rosie’s is the second one.

My kid came home from high school today and told me that two fellow classmates had been suspended from school for being drunk on campus. Apparently, these kids decided to bring vodka to school in a water bottle. They thought they were being pretty slick about it til one of them got totally drunk and passed out in class. The kid awoke only to tattle on the drinking buddy. Both teens were suspended and sent to different high schools.

FYI-these are freshman I’m talking about.

So parents…don’t let your guards down. These were good students that took a wrong turn. Follow up on your kids. Don’t assume things are going fine. Snoop a little. Oh and mark your liquor bottles.

I have purchased so many products that say they’ll do something, and then of course they don’t. If it’s too good to be true then it’s probably not true. Not in this case.

Zeno is a pimple treating device that somehow neutralizes the pimple. I know it’s gross, but we all get them. The worst is when you get a big red one right before you have a party or some fun thing to go to. The way it works is you turn it on, wait about a minute, then it makes this cool noise, then you push the button and put the tip on your zit. Hold Zeno there for 2 minutes and 30 seconds (It will automatically beep and stop.) FYI-The tip is hot. At first kind of too hot, but after 2-3 seconds it’s totally bearable.

So when you take it off, your skin might be a bit red for a little while, but the zit…gone.

How it does this, I have no idea. All I know is it works.

I finished my last treatment of Foto Facials aka the IPL laser. I did four treatments over the course of 5 months and I am happy with the results. When I saw my before and after photos I was pleased to see the difference. I know my friends and family probably wouldn’t notice, but I do. Then again, they aren’t looking at my face through a 5x magnified mirror like I do every night. Regardless, I would do it again and may do it again in a few years unless of course there is something better on the market by then.

Finally. My faith in the American public has been restored. Antonella is gone. The top 12 Idol contenders will have 6 of the top women and 5 of the top men. Somehow Sanjaya slipped through the crack and Sundance Head was sent home tonight.

According to TMZ.com American Idol has banned The View from using clips from the show.

This is in response to Rosie’s fly by night remarks saying that American Idol is both “weightist and racist”. Rosie’s ‘view’ seems to be that since Idol hasn’t kicked off Antonella Barba for her racy online photos and they kicked off Frenchie Davis for her participation in an online adult website they must be playing favorites.

Idol states that the difference is that Frenchie was paid and Antonella’s photos were released without her permission.

Frenchie Davis is now staring in a four year run of Rent on Broadway. Wonder where Antonella will turn up? Rumor has it that Girls Gone Wild is after her.

I really enjoy getting my morning scoop on tmz.com. This morning…not so much.

Excuse me while I spit out my coffee through my nose. Star Jones is making an appearance on one of my favorite shows “Law & Order: SVU”. Say it isn’t so. I thought I was done having to see her mug on my big screen.

I got a kick out of the way tmz.com called her an “attorney turned Bridezilla”. That’s a good one.

I am so disappointed with my fellow American Idol voters. What is everyone thinking voting for that Barba chick. I mean the girl should be on America’s Top Model or something. Not in a singing competition.

I couldn’t help but notice that when all the girls grouped together to hug the girl that was voted out Antonella was in the back both times. It doesn’t seem like her peers are big fans either.

Well…maybe next week.

Oh and BTW-WTF with Sanjaya Malakar staying on one more week as well? He performed more poorly than the average kid at a school talent show. What is going here people!!

I thought it was extremely rude of Antonella Barba to make a snippy remark to Simon last night on American Idol. First off, she performed horribly for the second week in a row. After Paula gave her the usual…blah blah “have fun, you are beautiful” whatever criticism, Simon told her how it really was. Antonella’s response was “Oh well, I’ll listen to Paula since you were wrong about Jennifer Hudson!” HOLD THE PHONE!!! What did she just say? Is she comparing herself to Oscar winning Jennifer Hudson? Yes, I believe so. Simon responded quickly putting her in her place.

Her recent thrust into online stardom has nothing to do with her voice. She knows it and so does everyone else. This girl has got to go. Please don’t make us listen to her try to compete in this competition. Oh and I forgot to mention…what the heck was she wearing?
